Back to cheer up our studio - more wall hangings by Annette Natocho Stearns.

Annette is recognized as one of Uganda’s premier artists. She arrived in the U.S. just a couple of years ago. She now lives right around the corner from Inside Outside Fitness, with her husband and their adorable baby boy.

Annette works in many different mediums, including watercolors and oils. Her uniquely African wall hangings are "just for fun". The wall hangings on display are pictorial narrations of the sights and sounds of Africa, and were created by Natocho and her sisters in Uganda. Their bold color background colors and deceptively simple figures capture the energy of music and dance.

These wall hangings are also for sale at very reasonable prices. Annette sends the proceeds back to her family in Uganda, where $100 goes much further than it does here.
