Good posture doesn’t just look nice, but helps your body distribute stresses more easily & safely. This is especially important when exercising! From your head to your toes, here’s what to do:

  • Look forward
  • Stack your head, neck, shoulders & hips
  • Relax your shoulders, don’t hunch
  • Keep your chest open
  • Engage abdominals lightly
  • Don’t lock your knees, keep them ever-so-slightly bent
  • Place feet hip width apart
  • Center your weight lightly on your feet

Now you’re ready for anything! You can adapt these tips for non-standing positions, as well.
